Hmmmmmmmmmm,.. the weirdest what i did on A "sisters" track.

I remeber that very well !!!

I was at the lake near my home here with 2 friends, we were all down in to a bottle of some good heavy liqure.I had my portal cd/radio blaster with me (with doly surround), around the lake it is nice and very quite from 23:30. We where lying in gras, watching the bright full moon and some small long clouds going under it, smoking 2 sigarets at the same time (Lucky strike 100s - the long one's). Had put one the "Floodland" cd, and the way we go. From the moment the cd started to play,we never said anything to each other and we didn't stop smoking and drinking untill we got up to walk back home.We just laid there and listening to the cd over and over again untill the sun came up at 06:50.

That was a nice and strange expiriance !

I love to sing "Lights" and "Valentine" during rush hour on the highway here in Rotterdam on the motorcycle. Some time's I do the same when i'm in the center of a crowded city in front of a trafic light It's funnto see the reaction of the people

Walked down to a beach in Lagos portugal at about 10pm, it was deserted, and i watched the tide come in whilst listning to the floodland album on my ipod.

Oh, that reminds me of something. I once tried to drown listening to Floodland. In Spain that was, I was 20. Went out of the hotel late at night, drunk, barefoot and crying, with a walkman. Then I walked into the sea, further and further, until water was so high that I had to hold the walkman above my head - then a bigger wave came and destroyed the headphones, the music stopped and somehow I run out of courage to walk on.
And no, I've never been a goth. On that night I was wearing the pale pink dress, I remember.

Dunno about twisted, but I've never been able to go out to bat (at cricket) without Temple Of Love popping into my head the second the bowler starts his run-up. Rather annoying really, and possibly has something to do with my less than perfect batting averages over the years. Either that or I'm just sh*t.

Twisted goings on to the rumble of overbombing would definitely include festivals, drugs, and girls breasts replacing the mirror of 'Afterhours'. Ahh, my youth, why have you forsaken me?.

Ah, this explains it. I always thought that, since it was played after Finland Red, Egypt White (since it's about an AK-47), Rain From Heaven referred to bullets raining down on the enemy. Though that idea didn't really fit in with the ideas of "forgiveness" or "false forgiveness".

I don't know what the source of those words is, but then I've never even figured out what the 'Floodland' is either and I'm frightened of getting into interpretations of grandiose concepts or things of Biblical proportions. With my son I was listening to Floodland, but I was a bit distracted and can't remember which song was playing when he was born.

When I had my daughter I was listening to SGWBS and The Damage Done was playing. I remember that clearly only because it kept skipping.
