Nick Cave gig

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

I don't know if any other Heartlanders were there, but I should report that Messires Cave & co were on top form last night at the Brixton Academy.

A lot of stuff played from the latest CD, and two excellent encores with some storming versions of Deanna, City of Refuge and the Mercy Seat.

If you're going to see him at one of the forthcoming dates then you're in for a good time.

For sure it was a great concert.

Pitty that Nick forgot Portugal on their tour dates. That is not normal.

If I bump into him around Brighton I'll pass on your displeasure at the lack of Portugese dates

Saw him in Manc - brilliant as usual.
1 hour of the new album then nearly an hour encore of the classics (inc mercy seat).

Was there Friday night as well. Top stuff. Even if he does tend to resemble a malevolent stick insect.

 well, that description also applies to a singer from another band who we tend to chat about even more frequently on this site... :innocent:
