Fishhoek is a great beach to swim at, we often go there after caving to freshen up

I have mixed feelings about the movie. it wasn't bad but not as good as it had could have been.

Dim, through the misty panes and thick green light,
As under a green sea, I saw him drowning.

The Dutch, or maybe the British. I forget. Table Bay (the one with Table Mountain in the background) was the "real" bay, the one with the dock. False Bay was a much bigger bay just around the corner from Table Bay. Sailors use to get confused between the two.Burn wrote:hallucienate wrote:bugger that, it's a great beach. and now there'll be more room to swim aroundrian wrote:Don't go back there...

I feel sorry for the shark - it's HIS f u c k i n g habitat, after all. Imagine swimming along all happy like in your little puddle and having to come face to face with a 70-odd year old human female splashing around and polluting YOUR water. I would have been pissed off too.
If I wander into Hillbrow in the middle of the night, or early morning, I EXPECT to get, at the very least, mugged ...
If you wander into a shark's habitat, expect to get a bit of a nibble from time to time, otherwise stay the hell out of the freaking water.
Sharks Rule.
