Just curious..

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

3 in nose, 4 in ear. Now all closed up. Not very interesting really. Sorry.

4 left ear, 3 right ear. I think I'm done.

There's no way I'm risking messing up my teeth with a tongue ring and they make some people talk funny.

1 left ear

Mininal, works for me!

I had a nose ring when at uni, but took it out when I started working. Then I worked far too hard for a few years and the harder I worked and the longer hours I put in the more I was taken advantage of, made loads of cash for the agency and saw none of it myself. Ended up going off sick with exhaution after working 7 days a week, 12-16 hours a day on average for several months!
When I recovered I got another nose ring as a personal reminder to damn the man!
Went back to work long enough to quit, and started my career afresh with more resepect for myself.

That was about 7 years ago, I've kept the nose ring to remind myself that no f**ker else owns me!

I really hate those piercings. It looks really chavy. Not a good look
You might as well just get that part of skin between the top lip and nose. (the ULTIMATE in chavness) In fact, I'd insist that the silly girls who get their bellybutton done have that done too so everyone can see that they are chavs straight away!! Unless they wear burberry, then it's not a prob!!

Have never understood the desire to put holes in oneself.

Ear-rings I can take or leave, put I find it impossible to take anyone with a nose piercing entirely seriously. This made working for a girl with a diamond stud in her nose somewhat challenging at times.

Each to their own, I guess, but it really doesn't work for me. Bizarrely my sister has recently had her belly button done. Really had assumed she had more class, but now I'm even more convinced at least one of us is adopted.

Don't worry about it. As someone with a nose piercing, I find it impossible to take myself entirely seriously. ;)

Have to admit to being a bit of a piercing addict! :urff:

6 in left ear
8 in right ear - various different places
nose (x2)
lip
and errr, ahem, clitoris ;D - this one proves to be the most interesting!
did have nipple done but it was too irritating

Have a phobia re belly buttons, could never ever have a piercing there - cant even look at it, let alone get it pierced!

Am considering getting the skin between my thumb and forefinger done at the moment - and before you ask why - because i can! ;D ;D ;D

How long has it taken you to get to that size tunnel (biro size!)?

Just over a year (Since last Aug/September time) but that includes losing my flesh tunnel and not being able to replace it for a few days (so having to work back up) and stretching v-e-r-y slowly. ;D

I just typed "flesh tunnel" in google and nearly fainted when I saw the photos. It may look cool, but don't tell me it doesn't hurt during the weeks (months?) of stretching. :urff:

Lol - that's WHY i take months stretching
I've seen more than enough posts on Lj (and similar) of people who've stretched too fast :urff: The actual stretching doesn't (and AFAIK shouldn't) hurt. It feels a bit tight for a few minutes (never more than 15 mins) after i put a larger tunnel in, but it doesn't really hurt.

I would agree there RJ if I thought for one minute that the sole (or even major) motivation for being tattooed or pierced was "to be alternative".
