Harry Redknapp Leaves!

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Aww sad day for Pompey! :(

He has turned this club around. He really will be missed.

It all depends who comes next, surely?

How much further do you feel Redknapp could take the club? His track record at West Ham could suggest that he was nearing his peak and the only way for Pompey to avoid an inexorable slide was to move him on.

You could also look at Peter Reid's time at Sunderland, or Bryan Robson at Boro for evidence of this. It's not necessarily a disaster, but it does depend on what Mandaric does now.

Just a thought ....

They are doing well, but not well enough for him to leave mid season methinks!

Personally i think if he had stayed with them til the end of the season they would have been confident enough to carry on in the Premiership without him.

But, like you say, all depends on who Mandaric brings in to replace him i spose.

We wait with baited breath................ :?

I probably should have mentioned this before, but thanks for that young Adam Smythe. He doesn't half mix it for his team. Looks good in a Red shirt, too. I've totally changed my tune about him, which is more than can be said for the Djumbo twins or Klebfoot. Swap you - them two if we can have Danny Pugh back. Done deal.

Always remember, LAOFC.
