I love the sax stuff on the early Nephilim tracks (Returning to Gehenna?).
Or is my memory playing tricks? I don't have it handy to check.

I always loved the sax on Bowie's Diamond Dogs album - pure brilliance.

I've got to be a killjoy and say I don't like the sax. It's a woodwind isn't it - only it sounds like brass and I hate brass.
I make an exception when the lovely Michael Monroe of Hanoi Rocks is playing it though. And the middle of Dominion, obviously.

There's a man with a mullet going mad with a mallet in Millets
Saw HR last time they played in sheffield and they rocked like BA$TARDS! although it did look odd watching Michael Monroe try to play sax with his collegen-ed lips (oh and the trousers, which were closer to being tights )boudicca wrote: I make an exception when the lovely Michael Monroe of Hanoi Rocks is playing it though.

And you know that she's half crazy but that's why you want to be there.

I'm not a big fan of the sax but I like the sound of it on 'Hiroshima Mon Amour' by Ultravox......... thats the John Foxx late 70s version of the band not Midge Ure's new romantic one.

Nobody heard of John Lurie and The Lounge Lizards?
