Should East West Self Destruct and Warners finally get of their behind and do Deluxe CD remasters of the sisters albums.
What would people like to see as a tracklisting (assume a 2CD set for each album)

No more re-masters or re-mixes, just some fresh new releases.
Give me one good reason
I'd like the original mixes of FALAA back please. The only really obvious thing to add would be B sides and maybe radio sessions. Von presumably would have to have some input into any such project, so live tracks, demos and all the fun stuff would be a big no-no.
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

From this clicky: Re-releases would be...

An album of the "new" material would be preferable thank you. Or even an album of genuinely new material.

Where are the Jap mixes? I heard about AL being renamed "In Fact I Mean Logic", which after I stopped laughing, I wanted to find.allfear wrote:Id like to see a 2 cD of F&L&A with a totally remixed version of the album + Remixed B sides, on disc 1 then on disc 2 the original album remastered + the jap mixes + B sides

You can buy all the Sisters abums for ten bucks here in the bargain basement shops. For a while (I haven't seen it recently) there was also a triple box set of FALAA, Floodland and Vision Thing going cheap.
.... there is no semblance of rock 'n roll around here!

1) Which Tracks on the Japanese Version of FALAA were different mixes, or was the whole thing remixed?. Also anyone have the track lengths for the remixes.
BTW: Does the Jap FALAA CD have the different mixes? or is it a standard warners release.
2) Can someone post the track lengths for the Walk Away Single, i.e (On the Wire, Posion Door, Walk Away (Single Mix), and Long Train (Amphetamix)
Since my copy is on another continent., and this info isn't on the faq or any discographies that I've found
3) Were there remixes on the Canadian copies of FALAA, and were these the same as the Jap mixes?
4) Was the original 1988 FALAA CD remixed or is it the original mix from the vinyl(so long since I had a record deck), and was the 1992 Remaster a new mix or just remastered?

All tracks were remixed, some more than others (eg. FALAA, ARAAHP) ... It could well be that different versions were recorded at the original sessions, and A.E. choose different ones (i.e. that were more to his liking ) so I don't know if the term 'remix' applies per se (?).
All CD versions are identical. (generally spoken Japanese CD's might be more properly mastered than in other countries but that's a different discussion on it's own)
Canadian vinyl has the original mixes. I don't know if there's a Canadian CD release (?).
Track times are: WA 3:20, PD 3:40, OTW 4:18, LT (?)
1992 CD is just remastered and sounds identical to the first CD release. It was re-released around the same time SGWBM was issued and they probably needed a way to hype it up a little (?)
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?
