FLOOKING FLU!!!

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

However, I've been stuffing meself with Vitamin C tablets - and I'm on the verge of being OK again...

Blokeflu... aw, that's terribly unfair. I can assure you that us laydeez are more than capable of being utterly floored by what is essentially just a cold. Higher pain threshold my arse! My throat feels like sandpaper at the moment and as far as I can see that's more than enough to warrant sitting on the sofa with the duvet wrapped round me watching Trisha tomorrow.
My sympathies go out to you, Padstar, whether it's The Real Thing or not!

I have a really sore throat at the moment. Nasty. Still in bloody work though.

i feel fine but have tried coughing a couple of times in sympathy. i trust you're all tucked up with a hot toddy or a hot body or something.

Just drink ten bottles of Stella and smoke two packets of cigarettes and convince yourself it's a hangover. Works for me.

Had it about 6 weeks back, the cough stayed for a few weeks after. A total pisser.
