Is there anyone here from Berlin? We're off next week to see the mighty Rammstein, on the Thursday, and we'll be looking for somewhere to go after the gig. Does anyone know what clubs might be worth getting pi$$ed in and headbanging savagely through the small hours?
Any help appreciated. Cheers

That all assumes the flight tickets turn up, of course.

What’s the difference between a buffalo and a bison?
Sorry, mates, me and mrs P were so impressed by The Sisters that we didn't want to go anywhere that night after the gig. Although Christian P from Dominion had suggested some clubs. Maybe I can find these links. But I'm sure Vicus may be the best man to know things like thatBig Si wrote:Have a word with pikkrong, he went to Berlin last year to see the Sisters.FFS Dave wrote:Is there anyone here from Berlin? S'gonna be ace. Still need one ticket off a tout, but I'm sure the scousers will be there (Boris Johnson For PM).
Apparently they wear gimp-suits on this tour. Marvellous. What else?

Standing outside my work having a smoke I notice a delivery type girl staring at an envelope and glancing at buildings in the vacinity. We make eye contact and she comes over.
"Excuse me, I'm looking for XYZ (and gives the address) can you help?"
"Yes" I said looking at the envelope "That's for me and they're my Rammstein tickets!"
So, in a busy London street, with one flash of the driving licence and a signature I'm sorted.
Life is wonderful sometimes.

I don't wanna live like I don't mind
Tis true.
But as all three Brixton dates are now sold out, maybe I'll just keep monitoring the activity on ebay and if the money gets silly, maybe the Del Boy in me will come to the fore, coupled with the urge to wear a cloth cap and stuff whippets down my trousers.

yeah, anyway...JB, you know what you have to do. Miss the gig and you'll regret it big style matey.
Berlin is very ace. In particular the Cafe Zapate on OnionBurger Strasse, which seemed very tolerant on smoking greenery, so much so that they directed the dealer towards us. Absolutely corking place, with an outside futuristic (ish) huge backyard, which looked prefect for those mid-summer raves. To say we stumbled across it by blind chance just made the trip better.
That Velodrom is an impressive venue too, dug into the ground as it is.
The large statues and avenues and sparkly-tree lined boulevards looked the part, but I'm afraid my cultural instinct didn't really make it past Zapate's.
Anyone fancy seeing Rammstein at the Wulheide next June?????
