Looking forward to see ...

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

But hopefully the 'world tour' they've promised for the new album will actually include various UK cities.

Enjoy.

Hope of the States in Bristol on Saturday - for the 3rd time in 6 months! :D

They've just added added some November dates to the tour - so I might even try and see them again.

http://www.britishseapower.co.uk/forum.htm wrote: On Friday 17 December, British Sea Power will be playing a fund-raising concert/Yuletide grog-in at Leeds Cockpit.

The concert is in aid of MHA Care, which is a charity providing specialist dementia care and sheltered housing for around 5,000 older men and women throughout Britain. All profits from this concert go to MHA Care and will help to build a new MHA Care home in Leeds.

Tickets are £10. The night’s concert programme will run from 7pm-10pm. The ticket price also includes admission to the Session dancing club which runs on from the concert till late. Support to be confirmed.

The night will also serve as the Official BSP Non-Denominational Festive Joytime. So, come along and be prepared to stay forever. We predict a memorable time. Certainly, this bold dementia charity have entered into the spirit of things by asking if BSP can play Remember Me twice. We are not making this up.
I'm banking on you good people to remind me I've got tickets nearer the time. :D
And you know that she's half crazy but that's why you want to be there.

f**k, did they play loud? :urff:

Motörhead. How can they get so much noice out of one guitarr, bass and drums? Erarplugs helped a bit, but not enough.

Before the encore, they made a couple of unpluged songs  with E-type!

Oh well.....
