the inevitable "what I got for christmas" thread

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

A couple of hardbacks - Fleshmarket Close by Ian Rankin and the (huge) final part of The Dark Tower by Stephen King (which is handy, seeing as I haven't read the previous 6 parts - bless my dear old Mum).

Plus some clothes and vouchers, the usual.

I'm currently enjoying my present to myself, bought when I moved house...

Well I almost knocked out my 3 years old nieces tooth’s when I was trying to open my present.
It turned out to be beer, and the little girl is still afraid of me. :(
