the inevitable "what I got for christmas" thread

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Santa was mugged on his way to my house (that's why I didn't get the all important phone call from Seattle, which is all I asked the fat bastard for in the first place ... ) but my relatives organised suitable compensation:

Special vintage Nederburg ('98 ) Cabernet Sauvignon
Special vintage Nederburg Edelrood ('93) 8)
Fairies of all shapes and sizes
Some new Tarot cards.
Desk clock for my office
Lots of bubbly things to put in baths etc.
Very nice bits of gold jangly stuff to put on arms and in ear holes.
Music - I buy that myself, nobody can get what I want in SA anyway.
So treated myself to some stuff from Uncle Amazing just before Xmas and it will hopefully arrive in the next week or so ... (well that's the plan anyway)
one day at a time

As under a green sea, I saw him drowning.

These things just cry out to be done, and it is I who must do them. It's a compulsion, like playing with fire.
