So long as you liked it. Heh, if enough people liked it, we could all remix/remake Floodland.Burn wrote:

i have just been listening to the Floodland Demos again ...and i still can't see what it is that everyone was so excited about back in the day...
IMHO Floodland is still my least favourite album...

Seriously, I prefer some of the songs to other albums' ones.
Every song on it is better than Phantom, Torch is better than Possession, Colours isn't as good as the Sisterhood version, Flood I is better than Detonation Boulevard, etc.
i don't have a problem with anyone liking Floodland...to each their own...and i don't have any concerns that some of the tracks are possibly better than other tracks recorded by Messer Eldritch and his cast of thousands...thats OK too...i just think that the album wasn't all it could have been at the time of release, and i was dissapointed with it within the context of contemporary artists at that time...Dark wrote:Don't make me burn you.Burn wrote:Dark wrote: So long as you liked it. Ghostie songs, like Can The Can and Both Ends Burning (Ghost Dance versions are better), and Jolene, Gimme Gimme Gimme, etc.
