Happy New Years!

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Hey! I apologised for that, right? You just won't let it lie ... :innocent:

No doubt Mrs JB's inability to hold your beer is much more of a concern at the moment.
And you know that she's half crazy but that's why you want to be there.

Fortunately, as it was one of those friendly northen-type establishments, the damaged goods were replaced with the minimum of fuss. :notworthy:

But that's a classic riposte to throw back at her next time she accusses me of being unable to to hold my beer.

Usually at 4am when I've woken up the entire neighbourhood attempting to open the front door and have some strange idea that the love gift of a stone cold kebab is the way to her heart ...

One hour and ten minutes left, and The Damage Done is playing from my speakers. This is how I'm spending New Years? Posting on Heartland and listening to the Sisters?

I've already wasted my life.

Dark, I must be wasting it too, posting here and not even listening to music as my right ear is blocked from having the flu last week!

Firecrackers faded round about 3am in our neighbourhood, then the sleeping pills kicked in and I don't really remember much after that (insomnia is a bugger at this time of the year).
Hope everyone has a groovy 2005
And if I am pressed to come up with a resolution, it will be to get a new life as soon as possible.
