Mr S needs help

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Ebay every time. Depending what the budget is you should be able to pick up something reasonable.

I like Boss, but Tascam has been in the industry for ever, depends what you want to do with and the the type of effects you want.

That said Sound Control recently slashed the updated BR8 to £249 (Two days after I sold my old one for a little more than that)

I picked up a Boss BR532 (digital 4 track recorder, built-in drum machine, bass simulator, guitar effects etc) on Ebay for 120 quid a few months ago. 8)

Just download a copy of cubase. It probably costs, but everything is free on the internet if you know where to look.
