Sex, Stars and Serpents

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

Here's a link to the cover of Promethea #10 by Alan Moore. Scroll down to the black and white version and see what (:von:) you can find.

I realize this breaking news is four years old, but I hope it's new to someone. I'm just happy that my favorite songwriter and my favorite author collided in some small way.

I'd guess Alan Moore (knows the score) had nothing to do with the choice of celebs on the cover - probably Williams' design. Promethea is one I haven't read but must do soon. I still believe Watchmen is the greatest novel of ALL time. He's a vastly and sadly under rated and under acknwledged writer. All hail Alan Moore,

Surely Von would protest that he should be front and centre with the laydeez.
