"Jokes" like that are common on the Internet, I assume mostly amongst people around 12, and some of them are a good laugh, but this one in this place is in my humble opinion far beyond the pale. If I were a moderator here, it would hit the trash bin immediately. But that's just my opinion and I don't get out often enough so forget it.

i assume most people here are web-savvy enough to be able to see that post and know that its a spoof.

stuff like that has been doing the round for a few years at least, so i never assumed for a second anyone would read it and believe it.

i cetainly dont see anything offensive in the post or the motives behind the post.

however, i'll move it into "joke of the day", which should clear the matter up for anyone else readng it. if people still choose to believe it for a milli-second then thats down to their inablitiy to take things in context (ie: its in a topic area marked "JOKE")
