The last gig you went to?

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Prior to that, The Faint, Astoria, December and Nick Cave, Brixton, November.

Next up is Nightwish at the Astoria, providing Quiffy's boys do the business and knock West Ham out of the cup on Saturday.
Errr, Quiffy? You're making me nervous now. Especially since I swerved the Feb 12 show on the expectation of a trip to Stoke and now have a blank Saturday and the threat of an away match on Feb 19 when I have a ticket.

On the other hand, PM if you're around for the replay. I might have to do a hit-and-run on the day, but may have time for a swift half somewhere.

Have learnt through bitter experience that Liverpool is a stretch of the M62 too far, on a school night!

He does do well in Liverpool...the audience give him as much stick as he doles out.

SSSputnik2/mechanical cabaret/katscan/the modern/ fistfuck deluxe last night.
FFD were wonderfully camp, funny and over the top. their singer had no pants on (in either the english or american sence) and amazing hair. they were loud. the modern were rubbishy scissor sisters wannabes (never a good thing ever), I missed most of katscan, the first couple of songs were dissapointing so i buggered off. Caberet wern't too "on form" either :|
But SSSputnik2...
SO much better than the "other" sputnik (and that's saying something...) backing track f**ked up on their cover of Duran Duran's "planet earth", but other than that, spot on. Great sound and fantastic setlist :D

Yes.
It's in their best interests.
