Heartland's 3rd Birthday Bash

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

I thought I'd just stumble blindly into this thread and say that the three-day tickets are still on sale (from here!) but I won't be posting any more out - they'll be available for collection on the door on Friday night.

James and Big (nunky?) Si: make sure you have plenty of onions with you in the car. Andrew always appreciates new tastes/smells and food...

Er.... How long does the drive from Glasgow to Leeds take?

I tend to think that the length of said journey in this case mainly depends on the strength of the onion smell for some people - just a wild guess...

Curry Fever no longer exists!
Some sham called Achmed's House Of Falafel, Photocopying and Fish 'n' Chips has wiped out the Holy Grail.

I hate to mention this, given that I'm now (ir)responsible for guests but my weekend drinking threw up (!) the information that The Telescopes are playing a low key, £4 comeback gig at the Fenton on Saturday...

Just a question: Do I remember correctly that the general meeting point on friday will be at the Angel pub (or what ever it is called "Angel")?

If so: When? And where (adress/street) is it?

And: Are there already similar plans for saturday and sunday?

Cheers, Eva.
