Cocteau Twins / Bauhaus at Coachella Fest 05

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

The Coachella Valley Music And Arts Festival will return to Indio, Calif.'s Empire Polo Field on April 30 and May 1. The sixth annual festival will feature around more than 70 acts.
The weekend offers a number of exciting reunions and performances from many seldom seen bands.
The first day features sets by goth gods Bauhaus, and The Cocteau Twins, who haven't performed in the U.S. in, oh... a really, really long time.
Other April 30 artists include Coldplay, Weezer, Wilco, Keane, Snow Patrol, Chemical Brothers and the Doves.
May 1 brings headliners Nine Inch Nails, New Order, Bright Eyes and Gang Of Four as well as The Prodigy, The Arcade Fire, The Faint, Black Star, Roni Size and many others.
The Goldenvoice-promoted event began in 1999 and has become one of the country's most celebrated festivals.

Only thing is the thing is f**king huge! It's about an hour and a half from where I live, but I don't think it's even worth going to. Furthermore, it's f**king HOT. Indio is hell in May and standing there all day to have a good spot to see one or two cool bands at 11 pm isn't really worth it to me, but we'll see. Now, if the Sisters signed on, I'd be there...
