My week:
1) Went to Cambridge Uni on Tuesday. Rocked the world.
2) Got Vision Thing on Thursday. Loved Ribbons to death and couldn't get it's intro out my head when I went to sleep, have listened to WYDSM at least 10 times. I was expecting it to suck as many people have claimed.
Only complaints:
Vision Thing's Canadian Club Mix sounds better than the original. Oh dear.
Detonation Boulevard still sounds bad, sadly, and I can't tell much difference between the VT version and the Overbombing version aside from the VT's version is quieter.
More still sucks.
Oh, and I got a Vision Thing sampler 1-sided 12" containing VT, DB and More. Ironically the songs on VT I like least.
3) I just found out I've won Heart Full Of Soul on eBay.
4) Parents were on holiday in Tunisia, so I was stuck at a friend's (he likes RnB and has 56k. I nearly died)
5) Bought Anaconda, Lucretia 7" and Siouxsie's Hong Kong Garden for a tenner.
6) Found cheapish record player. Will attempt to get parental "yes"es this weekend. :D
7) And I've been restraining myself, unable to read Heartland. I just remembered I'll have about 1500 messages to read on alt.gothic *sobs*

I'm taking my dad into town on Saturday to look at it. With any luck we could plug it into my computer. Vinyl Rips to all.

Oh, I don't do weeding, really, due to the fact that I don't like paying for anything, even CDs, but mp3, that is a different matter.christophe wrote:be carefull of what you are about to offer...Dark wrote:Vinyl Rips to all.

Yeah! I knew you'd like VT, you seem to me to be a fellow with impeccable taste.
Hong Kong Garden as well... love that record, but my mum stood on my copy by accident and snapped it a while back. Good one!
