Sheff City Hall would be a corking place to see them too. They kicked butt at the Octagon last year.
But then they would. They're Motorhead.

I didn't know they were doing anything with it, but then thanks to my 'employers' I've not had much opportunity to get to Sheff for a while.
Refurbed just in time for all the seats to be ripped out by speed-freaks. Unlucky.

The Notts gig is for over 18s only. Why is EVERY gig I hear about either too far away or restricted..?
Well, except two.
Off to see local bands on Saturday, and sitting nicely in front of my computer is ticket 551, to see at the local punk do, starring:
Trash Light Vision
Johnny Panic
The Wayriders
The Infidels
The League Of Mental Men
And.. uhh.. there was one I forgot.. uhh.. oh yeah.. The Buzzcocks!
Oi, Debaser, it's gonna sell out soon, the Drill Hall can only take about 700, you got yer ticket yet?
You better be there, since you missed the last one.

Maybe that's in preparation for the 'head gig. Once Lemmy's exited stage left, the builders will move back in.

SO...I brave the dodgy end of Lincoln High Street, to visit my old school pal Vince in his shop Planet of Sound. Money in hand to buy tickets....and the git's shut the shop being Good Friday and all that PAHDebaser wrote: And very soonish Buzzcocks (if I remember to get tix)

There was a rumour "The bunker" (The strangley short-lived neo-nazi "goth" night ) was blamed for it's demise in the first place.FFS Dave wrote:Bloody Hell!! Some refurb.d00mw0lf wrote:it's in bits. Aye, I just got back from town, clutching my Dominion 12", ready to sell it back to him (having bought the box set so I could get the poster), and buy the very attractive Sisters Baktabak picture disk (yeah, I know, not an official release, so sue me) and Radar Love by Golden Earring. The f**king door is LOCKED.Debaser wrote:SO...I brave the dodgy end of Lincoln High Street, to visit my old school pal Vince in his shop Planet of Sound. So I end up going to sell it to Sonic Sounds, who give me a quid, unlike Vince who'd have given me a few quid. However, they DIDN'T give me a quid, I got some Ghanan currency which LOOKED like one. He gave me a pound back afterwards, but still.
Also from there, I bought a Led Zeppelin t-shirt, and a Motörhead album.. though it might be a bootleg, I'm not entirely sure.
And then a pentagram from another shop. And that was that.
By the way, Debaser, The Eccentrics, who Vince plays bass for, are playing tomorrow evening at Christopher's Bar on Newland. I needed to know what time the gig starts, so I'll have to go in tomorrow and pray he's open.
Hell, if you can make it, and anyone else can, we could make it into a Lincoln Heartland Meet.
I saw them in December.
Not my cup of tea.
Not my cup of tea.
I think someone set my soul alight

OK, I've seen 'The Heid' twice now:
- 1. boring, going through the motions
2. a bit better, greatest hits etc.

But what a line-up that'd be for the Phoenix Club
Why do keyboards get so dirty?
