Sisters Live at this years Meraluna festival

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

If there's a mass exodus to Berlin, count me in too. Rather go with Heartlanders than my own lonesome self.

You're just NOT, repeat: NOT! going to shout HELGA near my tent!

in fact: no noises from anybody near my tent, otherwise it's going to end in tears....
But we need somewhere to park the 24-hour Rock 'N' Techno Bus. 8) :von:
Spare me the techno bit and you're welcome with the big bad bus near my tent...

Oh, but no puking, pissing or worse anywhere near me! :urff:

We can't spare the techno I'm afraid

I'll see if I can fit my decks and a load of Harthouse 12"s in my kitbag... It'll be like 1995 all over again, with less drugs, probably. ;D

More drugs and less techno'd suit me better I'm afraid, but I'm willing to compromise:

Give me the right drugs and Gabber/Hardcore or Goa/Trance instead of House and I'll be fine..... ;D

Misread "Harthouse" as "hard house" (er... like hard rock *puke*) I'm here to learn....

In this case I'll give it a listen - FAR AWAY from my tent though!

Back to basics and the topic.... ;D

After 120 years, Barr's are moving out of Glasgow. It won't be the same - I'm sure Irn Bru's "unique flavour" has something to do with the factory water tanks being situated directly below the Eastern Necropolis.

Otherwise known as an ancient tape player that eats tapes for breakfast, dinner and tea. And unfortunately usually has to slum it in a tent.

But when it see's fit to actually play your tape, you're laughing. And dancing. To loud techno or Motorhead, usually. :notworthy:

It got it's name at Milton Keynes in 99 when it's racket blasted across an otherwise surprisingly dull Metallica campsite, from the big bad van we'd hired to drive down in.

So it's the Rock 'N' Techno Bus...twas ever thus. If anyone should actually turn up in a bus... 8)

I have a hard time imagining how on earth somebody could come to Switzerland deliberately, but anyway: Next time you're around let me know! :D

And as we're exchanging compliments: I love the whole city of Glasgow and what little I've seen of the rest of Scotland too - wonderful country, very nice people! :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy:
