Fav and least Fav sisters songs + best cover version

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

Best line - all of them, but especially...

...seconds to the drop but it feels like hours...

As the man says, he's quite a lyricist. :notworthy: :notworthy:

Romance and Assassination...classic. Words to live by.

This should've been a poll, would have been topically interesting to find out what the Heartlanders would have elected as 'Most Popular' and 'Most Hated' song...

Didn't we do it a 100 times before, and isn't it kind of pointless?
Or did I just get up with my left leg today? I did. Everything pisses me off today so I need some Vision Thing now and it's my favourite now. Tomorrow as sorrow (ha! I can rhyme!) sets in again I may need Flood I and II, or if the sun shines it'll be Slept, or if it rains it'll be Two in the Nose. Or A Rock and a Hard Place if it's cold enough to wear the dark violet nailpolish that matches the dress. Probably.

aha, there is some mystery about the long guitar demo of Untitled...

I found it on the accoustics from the beehive CD & on the Kill the Lights LP. It's (without a doubt) one of the Floodland demo's and it's pretty long and repetitive... one for all you smokers out there...

It has some acoustic guitars on it (played by Andy??) and I guess this is actually the one that gave I Was Wrong its riff...

a real Scorcher!

Maybe so, but I imagine it would be highly amusing when restricted to the use of only the names "Marian" and "Suzanne"

The reason the Sisters are my obsession is that they rarely put a foot wrong. If pushed, the only really below par song would be You Could Be The One. Best cover is Jolene
