Tremendous website Si.
As you well know, I have very fond memories of that Celtic top.
Meanwhile, back in the jungle...
designed to look good with jeans Okaaay.
Nice if you wanna look like your dismal neighbours ...
Worse than that though was the blue and white striped top of the mid ninties. Red Issue provided instructions to make your own using a Tesco carrier bag and a felt tip pen.

Aye, that's him. Also featured within the material were the names of past United 'legends', like, erm...neil webb
Amusing side-note. After the legendary 3-1 defeat at Southampton in the grey kit, they wore the tesco bags the following season and got stuffed there 6-3 . No p**s poor excuses forthcoming this time. Not until they returned to fabulous black did they manage to win at The Dell.
Meanwhile, back at the worst ground in England (TM)...

Did they play in ridiculously (but ace) flared jeans to match? Maybe that's why they remained glued to division two for so long.
And while we're confessing, I did own a grey monstrosity. Looked good with decorating overalls.

MM... msot shocking one I've ever owned (and worn) was from a Swiss team, FC Wil... it was white with a massive zig-zag section running through the middle and in the zig zag section it was a purple colour that had the same look as ink poured into clear water...
psychadelic is an understatement.. shame I can't find a picture of it on the net!
