"Silence is platinum" is moving house

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

In terms of losing stuff...

Three moves equal one fire.
The fundamental cause of the trouble is that in the modern world the stupid are cocksure while the intelligent are full of doubt.

Which is ideal, because otherwise I keep all the boxes of electronics and old broken stuff and all the magazines that come in and, and, and...

So moving is really an ideal way of cleaning all of the useless s**t you never use anyway
Though there's often stuff we've left behind in our previous appartments, and after a couple of years we're searching all over the (current) place, and without being able to find it

My point being, I myself like moving, but I can understand not everyone does, so: good luck!!!

I must be the exception to this rule; I moved house, and accumulated a stack of stuff I've never seen before. Anybody missing something? I'll have a look, maybe it's ended up in my Cupboard of Mystery.

Well, did you actually clean the place up before you moved in? :D
