In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Does anyone know if I can get any of this band's stuff on CD? It isn't looking good, but they were one of the more overlooked bands of their era - unique in a time when there were a lot of imitators around.

Fashion, wow that takes me back...Street Player Mechanix on Tiswas...

Birminghams most underated act IMHO, much better than that Duran lot, who btw used to support Fashion down the Aston Triangle....along with Tin Tin....

Strange you should mention that. I acquired my mate's Move On T-shirt circa 1983, ripped the sleeves off it and invariably wore it under my leather jacket down the Phono.
