The Heartland Not-So-Festive 50 Albums

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Damn...

Ten is very hard indeed :|

The worst part about choosing ten is to try to find out in what order to put 'em, well, I'll do my best, I guess :)

No, and for Obviousman's aid too, they DON'T have to be in order from favourite to least favourite.

I voted for the Velvets' "Loaded" and Suicide's self-titled debut. I'm not sure what I'd put in second and third out of those two...

Well, I've put them in an order anyway, I guess that's easier for you too (and thus you cannot mix up my albums :P), lol, kept me busy for a while

I'm still thinking. I might sneak ten in under the deadline...

Currently, we have:

10 submitted by Mr Blast
10 submitted by Obviousman
10 submitted by yours untruly
10 submitted by Canon Docre

Current winner: None have any more than one vote so far.

Look, I KNOW voter apathy is common, but I expect, nay, DEMAND more voters! (If not, we'll have to accept Radiohead as the winner, as the TV poll said.)

No-one else voted for Bridge Over Troubled Water (Simon and Garfunkel), Non-Stop Erotic Cabaret (Soft Cell) or Gathering Dust (Ghost Dance), either.

You really have very limited taste in music, don't y'all?

Ah, at least that's a proper album I can live with, for which I'm grateful to the other voters

Now lets get some more voters! Because it'd be nice to have a real top, and not a best 1 and some other records :D

So, get to voting, all of you!

I have finally managed to vote - thought I should seeing as I moaned so much about the Channel 4 effort

It was far more difficult than I expected and I ended up having to draw lots for a couple! Still, I gave it a go eh?
I never talk during music, at least during good music. If one hears bad music, it is one's duty to drown it in conversation.
