Killing Miranda vs. Al Qaida

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Can fatwa be a good thing?

No, definitely not. Far too extreme a reaction. For anything

Miaow.

Or do I mean woof, woof? ;D

FWIW, it was the absurdity of a minor rock band being threatened with the full might of Islamic law that tickled me. Hence the option "Calm down dear, they're only a band" 8)

And I still think it's funny

Maybe he has a great singing voice ? It's not like that sort of information seems important to the CIA I suppose.

Ohh come on Ricky.... Look at the bigger picture, the last person who was threatened with a fatwa was Salman and look what happened to him...He ended up on stage with U2 at Wembley in 93. :D :D

Bloody hell.......

Well, the Smurphs never caused such outrage!!! Indeed, not to the extent of a "fatwa"... If someone said that to me ide suspect it was a badly put together anagram of "Fat twit"!!!

I wouldn't resort to violence just to prove I was right... :innocent:

Mind you, if it was seen as a post-ironic retort to the concept of fatwa...ah, go on then

I shall prolly let a hugely overexorbitant bidding war start, then I can launder the proceeds on cider 8)

Although if Auntie Beeb promises never to try and kill off Doctor Who (this includes dire scripts, worse production values and bringing back Colin Baker), I might let them have first option on the terrestrial screening

I'm with ya on bringing back colin baker (very underrated) but would prefer to see Sylvester Mccoy back. The mccoy era was priceless - I mean battlefield alone makes it worthy. it had Mordred! What more do you need? A psychopath in chainmail with a worrying obsession with his mother. THAT'S how you make a proper baddie!
We need a new master too. No fvcking way are they gonna get Eric Roberts back :| Wtf was all that about?!

Have you noticed how in his stuff for Dr. Who Confidential, Colin is seemingly turning into a fat Hartnell  :D

I havn't seen any of those yet... Don't have BBC3 and have no room to bittorrent them onto here (Pure laziness on my part. if I burned that three months worth of late night with Conan O'brien I'd have more than enough room, but the effort of putting a blank disc in, and burning them, and taking the disc out, and then doing that again.... it's too much hassle!)
Will definatly have a look into them now, just to see that!

I know exactly what you mean. Apologies for those awaiting weeding. Plus I have some series to put onto DVD as well.
