New Sisters Tour Name?

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

Okay, what should it be called? ;D

I was thinking along the lines of "We Know The FTP Pass Now!" or "Sorry. Really."

As long as it sounds philosophic I'll be happy :D

Of course something linked to all the silence would be very nice...

Some reference to the Cenotaph might fit well...

"Wheeled out once a year, a Cenotaph souvenir"... :innocent:

Or the flogging of a deceased be-hoofed creature...

How about "Not so much a tour as another excuse to make obscene amounts of money courtesy of those idiots who booked tickets for the Tilburg gig before waiting to see if we were playing England"? :innocent:

So that's Screw The Goths, thus the new name is:
STG-NSMATAAETMOAOMCOTIWBTFTTGBWTSIWWPE??
I sense a hit techno album.

My nomination for the new tourname comes from the minds of Andrew S and Quiff Boy:

That's g***s to you, Mr Dark.

And I want a mention in the liner notes if you commandeer that album title :innocent:

As an aside, didn't :von: give up his various substances? I know that's the excuse for inactivity being peddled by various parties anyhow :?

Veering into seriousness for a moment, I would like to see something referring to this sudden return from the dead - but I can see a familiar whitewash looming over the horizon.

Anyone know how the tours actually do get titled?

How about:

30 Minutes Over Europe

First person to get the connection wins a slightly shop-soiled pork pie :)

Pere Ubu

30 Seconds Over Tokyo

(although I much preferred Ubu's 'Heart of Darkness' if we're talking about their early period)
