What was the white suit all about?

I thought it looked shocking, personally. The beard, too. What was the man thinking?!?

I spent most of my life in the middle east and white is the only colour worth thinking about (black absorbs white reflects) and although petra is very pretty I think that the fact that it was built by arabic brigands to tax passage lends itself to white with beards (further protection from the sun & wind)

there's one more i'm thinking of but i cant seem to find. i love it too - its the band sat around in a cellar. wayne is lounging in a chair, wayne and gary are mooching about, and eldritch has shortish hair and a beard, and is stood up in the middle. it was in melody maker or something like that with a caption about messianic bikers
