What's your favourite neglected Sisters song?

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

Which do you (secretly) wish they'd play live?

Aaargh!

Sorry to be so anal (and touchy!) but perhaps I didn't explain this poll all that well...

There are some Sisters songs, widely available, such as Torch and Possession which not only have been forgotten by Von but by his fans as well.
I mean, how often have we discussed 'The Damage Done' for crying out loud? About 3 million times. it's one of the Sisters' most (in)famous tunes.

The songs I listed in the poll are all ones which, for some obscure reason, have kinda been dumped in an old cupboard and forgotten about.

Hope that clears things up!

hal's site is way more useful for that sort of stuff than the tours site... not that the tours site isnt bloody good, but hal's motives are different so his archive is more complete.

i reckon hal's site should be inroporated into the official sisters site's gigography ;D :D
*feels humbled* and thanks for promoting the new domain :D A gentle reminder that the design work is all QB's :notworthy:

Does anyone remeber that little ad on the front page of the official Sisters site requesting help coding a database for their gigography? Did anyone apply? Did anyone get any feedback?

Burn

'nuff said :!:
Dim, through the misty panes and thick green light,
As under a green sea, I saw him drowning.

Adrenochrome.
I would love to get into the moshpit during this song, even if I'm too old to behave like that.

Yep. 'Lights' is one of the best songs of the 'early' Sisters era IMHO. But from that list, Adrenochrome gets my vote.

So our ideal set opens with Burn, closes with Lights, and has Adrenochrome somewhere in the middle?

Arghhhh!! What a difficult question!!

Fix? Burn? Possession?Adrenochrome? Which one? I'm terrible at making decisions but in the end it had to be Adrenochrome - love the screams!!!!
I never talk during music, at least during good music. If one hears bad music, it is one's duty to drown it in conversation.

Okay, I accept your gig.. so long as it ends with a medley of Stairway To Heaven/Sister Ray/Never Land/Torch/A Rock And A Hard Place.

Just imagine THAT one.

Neverland (a fragment) Dark
I am very particular about that one.

Well, according to the Floodland CD I have next to me, you too have it wrong.

Not "Neverland (a fragment)" but "NEVER LAND (A FRAGMENT)"
Note the spacing between the R and L.

Mind, if it's NOT a fragment if they play it live, then that might mean it's an Extended version. ;)
