In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Come on, have a meet in Lincoln. If the gothier types want to come along, we can congregate around the cathedral, the oldest (900 years old) gothic building for many miles around.

Come to [the nice half of] Merseyside instead. The two cathedrals are a safe distance away over the river so you can't be accused of being gothic by the ridiculous amount of scallies (which are also, thank God, a safe distance away across the river) :innocent:

Meh, the county issue is a sore point. On separate occassions I've heard us referred to as Cheshire, Deeside and Merseyside.

How about we just stick with calling it the Wirral?

Yes, an excellent night, although I think I had just a little too much Stella by the end of the evening (although evidently not as much as the Polish guy who was sleeping in the corner).

I'm surprised the photos aren't here yet (or indeed the gossip) - Burn was snapping away, as was BoF (although she's still travelling on the coach home as I type) and others.

Special congratulations should go to Shadow_Smile for travelling from the Netherlands to the UK (for the first time in his life) to meet up with a bunch of weirdos he met on this forum.

Many apologies from me. Worked intervened late in the day and I was despatched to Bournemouth at short notice. These things happen, but £100 for an afternoon's work/watching football seemed reasonable recompense for helping a friend out of a Virgin Trains sponsored hole.
