In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Though I've never really cared for Kylie or her music, I do feel genuinely bad for her - my mom's gone through the nightmare of breast cancer twice; one of her sisters and one of her cousins battled the disease for years, and ultimately lost. :cry: I guess I'm kind of waiting around for my turn...

its about ownership. generalising massively, again. gay people are ok with with being called gay. bent has yet to be adopted by the gay community.

Some more militant gay activists do object to the word "straight" for heterosexuality because by implication they are "bent".

Don't really care about Kylie, except in the same way as one feels sorry for anyone facing such an illness (but........wouldn't want my pictures splattered all over the papers whilst undergoing treatment).
