Eurovision

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Nevermind the song contest. It's just another thin veil over the scars of our history. We've inherited the guilt of our fathers over the British Empire. How do the Germans deal with their past? And the other complicit Europeans? Ain't no song gonna sort this out. Just facisnation.
And you know that she's half crazy but that's why you want to be there.

These guys should have won!! :notworthy: :notworthy:

GREECE???? WTF?? It was only marginally better than the pish France 'sang' what a load of rubbish!

Germany's entry had so much potential at the beginning, but then had some sort of freak yodelling going on.

Glad we got no-where. Our song was rubbish and one Beyonce is quite enough thank you.

Wogan. As always. Was the hightlight of the eve :notworthy: :notworthy:

Moldova were shocking. Really bad. The Russians were laughable too, which is nice.

Norway were in the wrong competition, ditto Switzerland.

Personally I enjoyed Hungary and hated Romania.

@ Dark - of course it's trash. Kinda the point, really.

Aawwwwww. Leave them alone. They quite clearly thought they were the new RHCP!! Although I didn't quite get the point of the granny, it was still entertaining.
