Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. The Psychedelic Furs are playing their first UK gigs since 1991 (and we all know how long ago THAT is, due to that being about the same time as our Hero last released anything :innocent:,) in fact their first gigs outside the States since they got back together in 2000:

23/6/05: London / Shepherds Bush Empire (tickets on sale May 11th @ 9am)
24/6/05: Hyde Park / O2 Wireless Festival (tickets)
25/6/05: Dublin / TBA (TENTATIVE)

Obviously the best reason for going would be to see the Furs, who are a stupendously fantastic band in any event, but I thought I'd mention it in passing.

The SBE gig is a Thursday which means getting a couple of days off work but I'm gonna see what I can do :)
