20 Week Scan

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Went for the 20 week scan today; everything is fine - heart, lungs, kidneys, liver, spine etc all developing nicely and it's a boy Hurrah!

Anyway; this is Bertie Bump:

Image

Head on the left in profile and you can clearly make out his spine, ribs and one of his arms is up in front of his face.

Just sitting there watching his heart beating was a gobsmacking moment!

As an aside, as we were coming out of the Clarendon Wing of the LGI there was someone looking suspiciously like a new dad wearing a 'new logo' Sisters tshirt.

Anyone here?

Mik

You're not going to post every picture you get of him are you?
And you know that she's half crazy but that's why you want to be there.

Our little girl, Alice aka The Valkyrie Maiden Toddler, first put in an appearance there too. St James' is actually closer to where we live but the LGI has a better reputation and also has pools etc.

Plus, depending on what time you manage to stagger out, Josephs Well is a much better pub for head wetting than the Florence Nightingale

If you look at the picture side-ways, it looks like the baby is smoking a cigarette. :innocent:

Lull him to sleep with The Cure's own Lullaby, followed by a nice gentle burst of Flood I and Wide Receiver, and you'll have a perfect kid. :innocent:

I never talk during music, at least during good music. If one hears bad music, it is one's duty to drown it in conversation.

Well said Dark; I want to see headphones on Ms. Mik's stomach ASAP. Let's get this kid educated.

Your little girl is called Alice? Excellent.

Emma Jolene! Astounding; anyone else want to add to the list of Sisters-related offspring?

I intend for a daughter to be called Isabelle.

If I had a son, I'd name him Mark, and if I had a daughter, I'd name her Anne Marie.

I really do listen to the Sisters and Ghosties too much, non?
