Those Shirts?

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

This is a silly question but I'm asking it anyway.

I've pratically grown out of most of my clothes and I have to get a new wardrobe.

I've taken quite a fancy to those shirts Von use to wear.

You know the ones, I think they were polo necks and they were red & black.

I have a couple pictures of them but I don't know how to post pictures.

Can any of you tell me what make they were and the proper names?

I would like to get my hands on a shirt like that

The one with the flowers on is really, really old. I doubt you'll find one like that in the shops today.

But browsing second hand shops and the like for silly looking shirts can be fun. I found some flamboyant ones in Kensington Market and in Amsterdam. (not much help, I know)

You have probably done this already but have you tried looking in charity shops? I have been more than pleasantly surprised by some of my finds in them.

Bingo.

And a moment's apparel madness by Andrew, back in the latter stages of what you probably deem the halcyon days, should not be used as a fashion statement, a lifestyle statement nor any other form of statement.

Tony's moments of apparel madness on other hand most certainly should.

Certainly is; I think we're inventing fashion wars and 'nasty statements' to glamorise what was essentially people wearing whatever the hell they picked up off the floor that wasn't covered in vomit, booze, or both.

I have one like that - doesn't have a red dragon on as well does it? I was wearing it last week and almost expected to get kicked out of Sainsburys
