The Elephant's Graveyard?

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

First of all, I can't help it if I'm an a--hole.

Other than that, I must say, it is a credit to the genius of Eldritch that his music made Goth pallatable to a wider audience.

And, let's face it, although he may have worn a beard and white suit for a while, at least he never got around in a triangular, pointed goatee beard and frilly shirt as though he thought he was part of some sort of Gothic Three Musketeers.... unlike some of the dudes at the following distasteful link.

As they say back on the farm, "underneath every ponytail is an a--hole".

whitby weekender 2005 wasn't it?...
Dim, through the misty panes and thick green light,
As under a green sea, I saw him drowning.

Well I was handsome and I was strong
And I knew the words to every song.
"Did my singing please you?"
"No! The words you sang were wrong!"

Small world! The guy in the foreground in that photo is from Sydney, Australia. So is the girl who is prominent in some of the pix. The angst-y, Freudian-looking dude with the pointed goatee beard is a goose no matter where he's from. Is it any wonder that so many bands have distanced themselves form the goth thing?
