I WOULD LIKE YOUR OPINION, PLEASE

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

This will elicit some skepticism, but you can read a person's mind by exactly mirroring their phsyiology and body language. You see what they are seeing.
.... there is no semblance of rock 'n roll around here!

i see what you are getting at but i would say that only applies if you have a similar outlook on the world, or have some kind of common background.

if i stand next to prince charles and mirror his phsyiology and body language i'm pretty sure i dont stand a hope in hell's chance of knowing what he's thinking.

(not that earning is the correct word to apply in anyway to the Windsores [spelling intended] and how they obtain £££'s.
Well I was handsome and I was strong
And I knew the words to every song.
"Did my singing please you?"
"No! The words you sang were wrong!"

yep, all he did was create a scene that he knew would trigger certain thought processes in the human mind, knowing later they would resurface as subconscious memories.

basic psychology. that kind of stuff happens to all of us all the time, just no one usually manufactures a situation where it can then be retraced and pointed out after the fact.

"magicians" of any persuasion really leave me cold. i blame bradley walsh...
to be honest i agree,in general.although i do have an admiration for genuine slight-of-hand (especially when it's done right in front of your eyes, close up.not through a tv camera.
in his favour, derren brown is quite happy (when it suits him) to explain and/or at least recognise the psychological processes behind his trick

I'm a sterling supporter of the Royal Family, mainly due to the fact that they own the field at the end of my parents' garden and if they feel the need to sell it to some property developer, I'll lose the view I grew up with.

Note to self: Gotta get me a digital camera so I can share the pleasure with you all.
And you know that she's half crazy but that's why you want to be there.

I guess these things are all relative. But 30 years ago you could pretty much guarantee crown land was never going to be built on. Now, with the reduction in public funds going to the monarchy and its associated hangers-on, they're selling it off right, left and centre.
