New Skeletal Family album

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Brand new album "Sakura" - out now.

Very well produced & musically excellent. A few songs on there have clear shades of the unreleased Sisters stuff.
They're top fellas & I've seen them loads with all three vocalists, so it does pain me to say that although the music is great & the new stuff really does work well the one let down they have is Claire. She looks good & she's great on stage but she's not a great singer. Live she sings quite flat at times & I thought that might be sorted out for the album but she still sounds flat. When she adopts a more shouty/talky style of singing she's ok, it's when she tries to sing & hold notes, it just isn't there.

That said it really is a great collection of songs & well worth getting .

Thanks for the news, Biggy! :notworthy:
Haven't heard the current line-up of SF yet. Tried to get some comments from my friends who visited Wave Gotik Treffen this year but that was quite hopeless - they are all rather EBM or neofolk fans :(
Only a friend of my friends have seen SF (at least I've been told) but "wasn't very impressed". I have to add I have never been very impressed by all their favourite romatic Mittelalter pop bands.
