I never talk during music, at least during good music. If one hears bad music, it is one's duty to drown it in conversation.
Hi and welcome.

1990 wembley;was great,your right,unless you were scooter who whilst
jumping from balcony seated to standing area broke/fractured his ankle, tex book error!! or (me) who a bit drunk crowed surfed to the front, was thumped by bouncers and thrown out, before blagging re-entry!happy daze!

Being brave is coming home at 2am half drunk, smelling of perfume, climbing into bed, slapping the wife on the arse and saying,"right fatty, you're next!!"

See - even as a young(ish) woman (I was 23) - I just stood back and let others do such things (Always have been more a voyeur than an active participant ).scotty wrote:1990 wembley;was great, your right, unless you were scooter who whilst

Mind you, could have done with a better view - we were on the balcony to the side (not that I even considered for a second jumping off)

Don't get me started about how great Newcastle used to be Worked at the Riverside in the diner so saw loads of the bands (except missed Nirvana ).........went to the Mayfaid every Saturday (to the Gearbox in the small room).scotty wrote:your from newcastle?used to be a member of the riverside, great venue! marrionetes/rosseta stone/christabel children,LOUD,creaming jesus, almighty, faith no more at the mayfair, love newcastle!
Yep - they've torn down most of the good pubs/ clubs including the Farmers Arms, the Mayfair and the Broken Doll. They have turned it into "chav central" and I don't go there very often As you can see - I look for my alternative community elsewhere
.........but I'm not bitter

I found the dialect really difficult when I first arrived (17 odd years ago) - seriously couldn't understand some of the older ones But its definitely grown on me
......... and I swear like a trooper now - thanks to that dialect (its all part of the charm ).
