Whats the crappest forum you are a member of?

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Hang on...why weren't any of my threads nominated as saddest? I think I more than qualify. I am not impressed with their (lack of) sad-sussing skills. Not at all.

I'm just very, very glad that you brushed over the gender confusion part of this thread and didn't blurt out the fact that I ALSO thought you were a bloke when we first met. Thanks.

Well, I skipped over the middle bits of this thread and went straight for the kill, so I didn't see it. Anyway, it's not like you were the only one.

Hard to say, but it was probably Sharing the Groove where I was a member for about a year after which the server overload basically caused it to break down. The sheer number of sharing and lack of moderator control made it very difficult to participate. I couldn't say it was explicitly crap it was just nearly impossible that it functioned properly. Good things that came out of it are the Vine Factory and the Traders Den.

Not a forum. A mailing list for depressed people to cope with their depression. Everyday there was a post about how someone was so sick of it all they just wanted to die.
So I had to leave because I was getting more depressed. LOL!

I used to be a member of the Lush forum but it got far too cliquey and fluffy for my tastes.

I also used to be a member of the Terrorizer magazine forum which was quite cool but it disappeared several years ago when they changed the site around and its never come back :?

Only here and the Ministry p*ss Army. Joined the p*ss Army to get info about gigs as Mrs J seems to post a bit.

I don't go on there anywhere near as often as I do here - tried to sit here with both up the other night - "how to confuse an old woman"

I feel more comfortable here though

I'll be taking that link off the site then if that's the graitude I get, and I'll be in touch with Bill Hills SysAdmin to get this place blocked by the firewall as well. Anyway, mines MUCH better than yours and we've got new software and everything. And even if OUR band HAVE split up again at least THEY released a couple of albums, videos and DVD's within the last millenia so yah boo and sucks to you!

[flounce]

Dullest forum I've ever subscribed to was purely to get some info on an obscure techy widget and it was the only place to get support.

The Wim Wenders and Werner Herzog forums generally have tumbleweed rolling around in them and are otherwise filled with miserable krauts. Plus ca change and all that....

Oh give over Quiffy...those people that I think you're referring to have been members for aeons and have never changed their attitudes - they've always been moaning, holier than thou ninnies who are always right ;) :P :D :D :D (better put loads of them before this gets cut and pasted......

You KNOW you love us, you're just in denial at the moment.

The Killing Joke mailing list 'The Gathering' is doing my head in at the moment....but I keep going as interesting snippets of new up and coming gigs keep being posted ;)

Seems I'm just a one forum kind of guy. :notworthy:

Though if QB doesn't approve the pictures I recently submitted to the gallery, I might have to start divorce proceedings.
