I don't find it any different to a lady doing the same.
Cadaverously cheekboned, amphetamine-arsed gentlemen are too hard to find these days IMHO.

half diet/half regular.
But the majority of men and women I see drinking diet are obese. Is it just wishful thinking? Obviously it can't be a preference of the senses, as the stuff tastes like ass. Or so I'm told.boudicca wrote:Cadaverously cheekboned, amphetamine-arsed gentlemen are too hard to find these days IMHO.
I always drink diet coke -you got a problem with that then?
2 reasons -
a) I don't want to turn into a fatso
b) It tastes better and doesn't coat my teeth with what feels like a centimetre thick coating of goo.

Chucking another log on
Is there any correlation between the title of this thread and women who make 800 word opening posts? Is the connection 'only in Amerika'?
Curious with a death-wish.

And no, the only men I've known who drank diet Coke/Pepsi compulsively were English. It is a universal plight of the human condition.
On the other hand, being able to start a thread with an 800-word post is not universal so much as a rare talent that I intend to continue to inflict on this board.

I'd rather drink water but then again I'd rather have Guinness
I met a devil woman, she took my heart away
I guess this marks the difference between people who brush their teeth, and those who just try to "suck" them clean.d00mw0lf wrote:Yep. Don't like my teeth feeling sticky.ruffers wrote: b) It tastes better and doesn't coat my teeth with what feels like a centimetre thick coating of goo.

Drive thru-guy: They come in six or twelve piece...do you want service?
JB: Shut up and listen to my order. Take the six nuggets, and throw two of them away. I'm just wantin' a four-nugget thing. I'm tryin to watch my calorie intake.

If you weren't 6' 5" and a goth ( ) in denial, we would be having some serious words.
But the 'JB' quote sounds very remeniscent of the Jack Nicholson Diner Scene fron 'Five Easy Pieces'?

Diet drinks? Nah.
But then, I gave up on the fizzy stuff years ago. Just found it too sweet.
Water and fruit juice for me these days. And I do feel (slightly) better for it.
But I was always ridiculously skinny. Such is life.
