Iggy - south bank show special tonight

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

ITV 11:20 - a repeat of last years special.

Loads of early stooges footage , about as good as you could possibly get.
Superb.

You'll be quite suprised at Iggy's house too.

I thought that this was an excellent programme. Iggy came across really well - he's lovely.
I never talk during music, at least during good music. If one hears bad music, it is one's duty to drown it in conversation.

You mean to say we actually experince Melvynn Bragg and Mr. Pop in an interview-esque situation? :urff:  :notworthy:

It was a bit weird - but I managed to ignore Mr Bragg and concentrated on Iggy, it works

Iggy is suprisingly articulate to say what he's done in the past.
Good interviews and cracking Stooges footage, they seem to miss out most of the dodgy stuff he's done & concentrate on really old stuff & the fact they've reformed.

Well worth recording. I recorded it last time but my tape went all "bzzzzzzzzzzzzz" *stop ....start ...pause ..start ..stop*

I also recorded it last time it was on, great footage of Iggy throwing peanut butter into the crowd.

It also features footage of him playing live with the excelent Mr Bowie on piano.

Could any of you who recorded it share it with someone who can't see that channel... in ANY way...?

Well I was handsome and I was strong
And I knew the words to every song.
"Did my singing please you?"
"No! The words you sang were wrong!"

He loves his hair.
To not know and to ask a question is a moment of embarrassment; to not know and not ask is a lifetime of shame.
