In Touch With My Feminine Self

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Probably yes, because this thread is about estrogen. Not testosterone. Fcuk I'm, good tonight. After a day of sexual innuendo I'm cooking on gas.

Well, if you have an iron on you, we'd ask politely for you to remove it lest you burn.

Someone has to make a stand for the old baldy men, James. And I'm making that stand. Right here, right now. :innocent:

*bump*

Sunday is always my domestic goddess day. Cleaning, washing, ironing - you name it I love it! I'm in my glourious female element and all aglow. So imagine my horror today when I came to hang out the wash and discovered that Peterborough was experiencing it's first monsoon since 1963. What could I do? Think think think. I'm a woman. I'm resourceful. I'm practical. Trawling through my female memory banks (and believe me boys we have memory banks that could give IBM a run for their money) I thought of a solution. Grabbing the wash I ran through the cats and dogs to the garage. And there it was. A Creda Simplicity Condenser Dryer. White goods heaven. After loading the wash and starting the cycle I perched on top lady-like and side-saddle. Flicking through Cosmo I tried to concentrate on the articles but anticipation was building. And then ...the cycle stopped. Just like a man. Condenser dryers are not white goods heaven for that very reason. As the gals know, we all need that vibrating spin-cycle at the end to relieve us of the 'stresses' of modern day womanhood. I even had a cigarette ready to smoke afterwards.

I now have one of those two inch burn marks on the inside of my left forearm so favoured by the female species. Naturally as soon as the accident happened my maternal pragmatism automatically kicked in and I remained calm and collected. After ensuring that the iron was safely secured and no further danger to my person, I snapped a leaf off the Aloe Vera plant growing in a pot on the kitchen window sill. As any woman knows, the medicinal qualities of the natural gel inside the leaf help to relieve the pain, fight infection and more importantly, prevent scarring. My estrogen levels are rising.
A lot of those things are more to do with gender roles than some of the deeper, natural aspects of gender.

Of course it's gender roles. It's stereo-typing but as I'm posting as a 'woman' I can't be accused of being sexist. I'm setting myself up to be shot down. It's called humour. It's called laughing at yourself.
