Well I was handsome and I was strong
And I knew the words to every song.
"Did my singing please you?"
"No! The words you sang were wrong!"

Is it just me that starts singing a Jason Donovan song every time I see this thread title?
The video won't work for me for some reason and although I must have seen it I can't remember it.
There were an awful lot of dire videos in those days though, was it that much worse than everything else around?
"Too many broken hearts in the world
There's too many dreams have been broken in two
Too many....."

---- I never saw the UTG video, but this song, of all Andy's lyrics, lays it on the line with the barefaced question "Are you living for love?" as he snarls his indignation at war-mongers.
I totally respect Andy for UTG perhaps more than anything else he did, even though it isn't my fave SOM song.
It's like, if you were a songwriter and you were given a chance to say something in a song (something that would be heard by a LOT of people) what would you choose to say? Andy snarled at the warmongers.
.... there is no semblance of rock 'n roll around here!

---- Serious? And who was the fat guy, in Andy's stetson, driving the car when you see the driver from behind? What city was BP filmed in?

Even though half of the lyrics, and the music too, was "lifted" from Two Worlds Apart. -_-Black Biscuit wrote:nick the stripper wrote:The Lucretia and Under the Gun videos were grand.
