Black Pudding

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

I've told Paul - he's very partial to black pudding and to a BBQ so there was a likelihood that the 2 things would combine at some point

@James Blast, Burn and Scotty - you're welcome at ours for breakfast any time if the above is anything to go by (as far as Paul is concerned) ;D

@Obviousman - you're welcome as well - but I think you could be on your own with the apple and cinnamon

@Emily - you are welcome too - we'll have something a little less "bloody" (I don't have breakfast so any suggestions welcome :D )

one thing i got a taste for whilst living around Corby [a sold-down-the-river steel town, mostly populated by unemployed 1st ,2nd and 3rd generation Scots;a product of cheap imported labour from yesteryear] was full scottish breakfast.

similar to full english but with black pudding, potato cakes, and flat square sausages (lorn sausage?).

just the right amount of lard to kick start the day.or kick the bucket.

Black pudding is gods breakfast, no doubt. :notworthy:

But yeah, I tried to BBQ one once in France; damn thing melted into a disgusting splodge on the fire.

Rule One is...DON'T BBQ black pudding.

To BBQ blackpudding, fruitpudding or whitepudding, put tinfoil with some wee holes pierced in it on BBQ ,put puddings on this, the holes let some through smoke to flavor ,just be carefull when turning

Hope you can make it Ms Strange. And give young Gripper a nudge while you're at it.

correct on the sausage front, tattie scones is the proper name for the former

duly noted, although I have done a fruitslice to a turn on the barbie

So let's see, so far we've got Alice + Paul, Andi, Dave (FFS variety), Scotty, Zeno, emwk, me and maybe Culprit, I better get a cargo in!
Australian reds and strong German lager biers OK?
