The Sisters on Gardeners' World

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Who'd have thought it? But last night, on the BBC2 programme on the Hampton Court Garden Festival, they played Marian :D A cover version, which I couldn't remember if I'd heard before - very breathy in a French technochillout kind of way. Nouvelle Vague perhaps?

Maybe Charlie Dimmock (for it was she) requested it herself?

Yes it's probably Nouvelle Vague. Clicky

No idea, never heard of them, and am quite unwilling to spend several hours waiting for a track to download off their site.

BUT, that is by some distance the coolest, and most unlikely, thread title I've seen on Heartland.

you didn't miss much;unless you like hearing g**h classics ("a forest","love will tear us apart") done in a wine-bar lobby piano-stylee.

If wine-bar lobby piano-players played that stuff, it would be very groovy. Or at least better than what they do play.

But yeah, I reckon you're right Mr Whizz, nothing to see here.

Apart from Rachel de Thame in a F**k Me And Marry Me Young t-shirt. :notworthy:  :von:
