THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.
Polyester Y-fronts with 'Fcuk Me And Marry Me Young" emblazoned across the front? You could be onto a winner.
A while back now, a good friend of mine who was In The Know with Eldo suggested that The Reptile House sell novelty boxer shorts with "Another Merciful Release" on the back. This offer was not taken up.
but where do the cardboard boxes live before & after each tour?
Presumably under the stairs or in a shed in the back garden. I can only assume that his eldritchness is independently wealthy, married well or has perpetrated some sort of scam on the german social welfare system, and doesn't actually need our cash. Sigh.
What are you gonna do? The guy is obviously not bothered--he really doesn't need the money. I have to sickly admire that dedication, really. It's like, ***k it, we don't need t-shirt money that bad. And if the fans want 'em, well...whatever, they want an album, too, and look where that's gone.
Still, you have to believe that he'd make a decent biz of it--every single two-bit band on the planet sells ***t through a website (so why would The Sisters?)
